What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant to undertake major repairs and renovations to the rental unit that require a building permit and vacant possession.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 31, 2018. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $58.67 per day for use of the unit from February 1, 2018 until the Tenant vacates.
