What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the lawful monthly rent to the Landlord on or before the first day of every month beginning May 1, 2021 through to April 30, 2022. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before May 3, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at a rate of 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
