What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 6, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,075.26, which includes rent arrears up to November 25, 2021 and administration charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenant must also pay $30.04 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting November 26, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant wishes to void the order and continue the tenancy, the Tenant must pay $8,026.78 by November 30, 2021 or $9,226.78 by December 6, 2021.
