What happened

The ruling

The tenancy will be terminated on April 30, 2023 unless the Tenant pays $9,489 to void the order and continue the tenancy, or $8,354.40 if the tenancy is terminated. The Tenant must also pay daily compensation of $24.76 from March 16, 2023 until the date they move out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by June 11, 2023, they will start owing interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
