What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant or an occupant's behavior that seriously impaired the safety of others, substantially interfered with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment, and caused undue damage to the rental unit.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 20, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $1,825.75 for damages and $186 for the application fee. If the Tenant does not pay by October 4, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by October 4, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement, and the Tenant will owe $29.29 per day in compensation for use of the unit after that date.
