What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 31, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before March 31, 2021. The Landlord is authorized to offset the compensation owed to the Tenant for the use of the unit from April 1, 2021 until the Tenant moves out, and the cost of filing the application. The Landlord may collect any amounts that become owing as a result of this order.
