What happened

Landlord applied for an order to transfer the occupancy of the rental unit to a person other than by an assignment or sublet, as the Tenant had passed away and an unauthorized occupant, Julie Withers, was living in the unit.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of March 22, 2020. There is no Landlord and Tenant relationship between the Landlord and the Unauthorized Occupant. The Unauthorized Occupant shall move out of the rental unit on or before October 8, 2021 and pay the Landlord $190 for the cost of filing the application.
