What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 1, 2023. The Landlord's application for personal use of the rental unit was granted based on credible testimony of good faith intention to occupy. The Tenant must vacate by February 1, 2023, with the eviction order enforceable from February 2, 2023.
