What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying rent arrears and was not present at the hearing.

The ruling

Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the full amount of $24,696.00 by March 31, 2024, or $25,986.00 by April 5, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated. If not voided, the Tenant must vacate the unit by April 5, 2024, and pay $23,999.74 plus daily compensation of $42.41 per day starting March 15, 2024.
