What happened
Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlord or Landlord's superintendent or agent substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the Tenant or by a member of the Tenant's household.
The ruling
The Landlord shall pay the Tenant $23.01 representing a 50% rent abatement for November 27-28, 2019, and $45.00 representing the Tenant's cost of filing the application, for a total of $68.01. If the Landlord does not pay the full amount by August 22, 2020, the Landlord shall owe interest calculated at 2.0% annually commencing August 23, 2020 on the balance outstanding.
