What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay the lawful rent by the due date specified in the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 30, 2024. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $2,584.68 plus $44.08 per day from January 20, 2024 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 30, 2024, the Tenant will owe interest at 7% annually on the outstanding balance.
