The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 31, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $13,055.00, which represents the amount of rent owing up to August 31, 2021 less the last month's rent deposit and less interest owing on the deposit. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing on or before December 19, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
