What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant attended the hearing and spoke with Duty Counsel.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the rent on time in guaranteed funds starting March 1, 2021 and continuing on the 1st of each month until February 1, 2023. If the Tenant fails to comply, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant. The Tenant is also ordered to pay the Landlord $175 for the cost of filing the application.
