Tenants applied to the LTB for an order determining that the Landlord failed to meet maintenance obligations, substantially interfered with their reasonable enjoyment, withheld or interfered with vital services, and entered the unit illegally.

The ruling

The tenancy for unit 309 at 2517 Lakeshore Blvd West is terminated effective August 31, 2015. The Landlord will waive any rent arrears up to July 31, 2015 and return the $850 last month's rent deposit plus interest if the Tenants vacate by August 31, 2015. The Tenants may vacate by August 15, 2015 with per diem compensation.
