What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy will be terminated on July 6, 2024 unless the Tenants pay $14,848.50 to the Landlords or to the LTB in trust by that date. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount, they must move out by July 6, 2024 and pay the Landlords $13,657.34 plus $41.92 per day for use of the unit starting June 18, 2024 until they move out.
