What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective September 10, 2021. Tenants failed to pay the total rent required for the period from August 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 29, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying $5,017.95 on or before that date. Tenants must pay $1,664.26 plus $55.17 per day starting January 5, 2022, for rent arrears and compensation. If full payment is not made, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 30, 2022.
