What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants vacated the rental unit on December 31, 2020, but were in possession of the unit on the date the application was filed.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $1,170.00 in rent arrears and $201.00 for the application filing fee. If the full amount is not paid by October 30, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
