What happened
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord $2,589.40, which includes rent arrears owing up to May 13, 2022, the cost of the application, and unpaid NSF charges, minus the rent deposit and interest owing. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 8, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 4.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
