What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing but did not attend.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying $3,295.60 by August 21, 2022. If not voided, Tenants must move out by August 21, 2022, and pay $591.38 plus $46.32 per day from August 4, 2022, until they vacate. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting August 22, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
