What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenant did not attend the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $2,776.16 by February 18, 2023. If not voided, the Tenant must move out by February 18, 2023, and pay $150.22 plus $43.68 per day from February 1, 2023, until they move out. The Landlord can file for eviction enforcement starting February 19, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
