What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to pay utility costs they were required to pay under the terms of the tenancy agreement, which substantially interfered with the Landlord's lawful rights and privileges.

The ruling

The tenancy continues if the Tenant pays $188.68 to the Landlord by December 18, 2022 and continues to pay utilities in time for the subsequent 12 months starting from January 1, 2023. If the Tenant fails to comply, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application.
