What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent and substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The Landlord's L2 application is dismissed as withdrawn. The tenancy is terminated effective October 26, 2020. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $190 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by March 31, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
