What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to keep the rental unit in a state of ordinary cleanliness, causing damage to the rental unit and the unit below, as well as the Tenant's clutter substantially interfering with the Landlord's and other tenants' reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective July 31, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,900 for the damage caused to the rental unit and the unit below. If the Tenant does not vacate by July 31, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
