What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenants did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless Tenants void the order by paying $16,155.96 by December 17, 2022. If not voided, Tenants must move out by December 17, 2022, and pay $7,270.15 plus $64.63 per day from September 15, 2022, until they vacate. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting December 18, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
