What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay rent owed. Tenants vacated the rental unit on April 30, 2022. Landlord amended their application to an L9 application solely for arrears of rent and the filing fee.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $2,799.23, which includes rent arrears and the cost of the application. If not paid by October 24, 2022, interest will be charged at 4.00% annually on the outstanding balance from October 25, 2022.
