What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 31, 2021. The Landlords shall apply the last month's rent deposit to rent for May 2021 and shall pay interest the Landlords owe on the rent deposit to the Tenants. If the Tenants do not vacate the rental unit on or before May 31, 2021, the Tenants shall pay $66.58 per day for the use of the unit from June 1, 2021 to the date they move out of the unit.
