What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant had paid all arrears for the period ending June 30, 2021 after the application was filed, so the order was limited to costs only and not eviction.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application in two installments by July 20, 2021. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by the due date, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
