What happened
Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlord failed to meet the Landlords' maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 or failed to comply with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards. The Tenant claimed that the Landlord's failure to maintain the site on which her mobile home is located has damaged her home.
The ruling
The Tenant's application is dismissed. The Adjudicator is not satisfied that the Landlord has failed to meet its obligations under sections 20 and 161 of the Act. The issues reported by the Tenant are likely caused by the absence of frost proof footings and the work done by the Tenant.
