What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant wilfully causing undue damage to the premises, substantially interfering with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest, and seriously impairing the safety of any person.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 11, 2021. The Tenant must move out by April 11, 2021 and pay the Landlord $1,088 for use of the unit from February 16, 2021 to April 6, 2021, plus $21.76 per day from April 7, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. The Tenant must also pay the $186 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 11, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest starting April 12, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by April 11, 2021, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
