What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants had been paying rent late since March 2019, which continued into 2021.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 20, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlords $77.26 per day for use of the unit from November 10, 2021 until they move out, as well as $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owed by November 20, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
