What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Landlords' good faith requirement for possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year by their child.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated on January 31, 2023. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before January 31, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlords compensation of $31.23 per day for the use of the unit starting February 1, 2023 until the date the Tenant moves out.
