What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Tenant, another occupant, or a person the Tenant permitted in the residential complex seriously impairing the safety of any person. The Landlords also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenant is terminated as of September 8, 2020, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 29, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest calculated at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance starting September 30, 2020.
