What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant paid $6,500 after the application was filed, but the Landlord was unable to negotiate a repayment plan with the Tenant.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 12, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,948.43 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $26.14 per day starting October 2, 2020 until the Tenant vacates. The Tenant can void the eviction order by paying $3,885 on or before October 12, 2020.
