What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before November 9, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,944.23, which represents compensation for the use of the unit from September 2, 2021 to October 29, 2021, less the rent deposit and interest the Landlord owes on the rent deposit. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $72.33 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from October 30, 2021 to the date the Tenant moves out of the unit, and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application.
