What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to Tenants giving a notice to terminate the tenancy. Landlord also applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owe.

The ruling

The Landlord's L3 application is dismissed as moot. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $7,495.28, which represents the amount of rent owing up to January 14, 2021 and the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by August 23, 2021, they will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
