What happened
Landlord applied for an order requiring the Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Landlord had sold the property on April 30, 2021 and was only seeking an order for arrears of rent up to that date.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $774.22 in rent arrears up to April 30, 2021 and $201 in application fees. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 30, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
