What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Tenant was repeatedly asked to participate in the hearing but did not say anything.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective March 13, 2022, and the Tenant must move out by that date. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by March 13, 2022, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting March 14, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by March 13, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction starting March 14, 2022.
