What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant for transferring occupancy to an unauthorized person. The Tenant had requested to add an occupant, which the Landlord approved, but the Tenant then vacated the unit and the Landlord found the unit was being occupied by an unauthorized person.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and Tenant is terminated effective November 12, 2021. The unauthorized occupant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $38.10 per day for use of the unit from November 1, 2021 until they move out, as well as $190 for the application filing fee.
