What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The parties consented to an order where the Tenant shall pay $4,711.00 for rent arrears and costs in 19 installments from July 2024 to January 2026. The Tenant shall also pay new rent on time and in full until the arrears are paid. If the Tenant fails to make any payment, the outstanding balance becomes immediately due and the Landlord may apply for eviction.
