What happened
Tenant applied for orders determining that Landlord collected or retained money illegally, gave a notice of termination in bad faith, and harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant and substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the Tenant.
The ruling
The Tenant's T1 application for interest on last month's rent deposit was granted. The Tenant's T2 application for harassment and substantial interference was dismissed as the alleged actions occurred after the tenancy ended. The Tenant's T5 application for bad faith eviction was granted, and the Landlord was ordered to pay the Tenant $246.65.
