What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant or another occupant committing an illegal act, and Tenant knowingly misrepresenting their income. The application was based on a N6 notice served to the Tenant.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 18, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by January 25, 2022 and pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 25, 2022, they will owe interest starting January 26, 2022 at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by January 25, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
