What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because Landlord 1 in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for residential occupation for at least one year. Landlords also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 31, 2023. Tenants must move out by this date. Landlords may file for eviction enforcement starting September 1, 2023. Tenants must pay $82.19 per day from February 15, 2023 until they move out.
