What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing, but had paid the rent arrears after the application was filed. The order is limited to the landlord's application costs only, and does not include eviction.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 26, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
