What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlords served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying $51,986.00 by February 12, 2023. If not voided, Tenants must vacate by February 12, 2023, and pay $41,440.29 plus $170.96 per day from January 31, 2023, until they move out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting February 13, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
