What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year by the Landlord Omar Dowidar's father, Alaa Dowidar.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 25, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement, and the Tenant shall pay the Landlord $27.72 per day starting October 26, 2022 for remaining in the unit.
