What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlords served a valid N4 Notice, and the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the arrears. The property was sold to a new Landlord during the proceedings.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 30, 2021. The Tenant must pay $8,182.71 to the Landlord by June 30, 2021 to void the eviction order and continue the tenancy. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by the due date, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
