What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay water bills, which resulted in the costs being added to the Landlord's property taxes. The Landlords served two N5 Notices of Termination on the Tenant.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the outstanding water bill of $2,222.01 by October 19, 2021 and ensure the water account is kept in good standing for the next 12 months. If the Tenant fails to comply, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant. The Tenant is also ordered to pay the $186 application filing fee.
