What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 27, 2021. The Tenant must pay $109.36 in rent arrears and application fee, plus $27.32 per day in compensation starting February 17, 2021 until the unit is vacated. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 27, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
