What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant requested relief from eviction in the form of a repayment plan.
The ruling
The Tenant's request for relief from eviction is granted. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $3,112 in arrears and costs, in accordance with a repayment plan where the Tenant will pay $500 per month starting July 20, 2016, and the remaining $612 by December 20, 2016. The Tenant must also pay new rent as it comes due and owing for the period July 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016. If the Tenant fails to make any of the payments, the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
