What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant did not pay the full rent from April 1, 2020 to August 31, 2020. The Tenant paid all arrears after the application was filed, so the order is limited to the landlord's application costs only.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 20, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
